After graduation (he holds 3 degrees) he moved to Houston and began work for a coating company specializing in tank linings and high performance coatings for the petrochemical industry. 

In 1993 Bob started his own coating company which he ran successfully for 11 years.  After selling his company, he decided to remain in the industry as a coatings representative. 

When asked what event or accomplishment meant the most to him during his career this is what he said:  “In 1980 I completed the NACE course and took the NACE Oath stating that I would do my upmost to promote good industry practices.  I feel I have accomplished that”.   

He took that oath to heart and that is why he has had a successful life-long career in this industry.  Highland is pleased to have Bob as a representative and we look forward to a long relationship.
